Trekking in India is incomplete if you have not trekked Pindari Glacier. This world famous glacier is trekkers paradise, as it is easier to visit than most other Glaciers. This glacier is situated between snow capped Nanda Devi and Nandakot mountains. The river Pindari originates from this glacier. The glacier is at an altitude if 3353mtrs.The entire trekking tour route is filled to the brim with natural beauty.
Duration: 12 days excluding travel from home to Delhi.

SAMPLE ITINERARY
Day 1- Convene at New Delhi, take a train from here to Kathgodam.
Day 2- Pick up form Almora and then move to Song (110kms) via Someshwar valley, Kausani and Katyur valley stopping at famous Baijnath temple. After Baijnath move to Bageshwar junction of Saryu and Gomthi rivers. Moving along the banks of the river Saryu via Bharari and Kapot reach Song in the evening. From Song to Loharkhet is a 03km trek which is covered with backpacks. Over night stay at Loharkhet(1750mtrs) in rest house, tent or tea house.
Day 3- After breakfast a 11km uphill trek to Dhakuri (2690mtrs). Evening bonfire at Dhakuri. Over night stay at rest house or tent or tea house.
Day 4- After breakfast trek form Dhakuri to Kati, 9kms through the forest and mountain villages. Overnight stay at Khati in rest house, tent or tea house.
Day 5- After breakfast trek from Khati to Dwali.
Day 6- After lunch leave for Phurakia 05kms. Stay overnight.
Day 7- Very early morning departure to zero point- Pindari Glacier 06.kms (3820mtrs) and back to Phurakia 06kms.Overnight stay.
Day 8- After breakfast a down hill trek to Khati. Overnight stay.
Day 9- After breakfast Khati to Dhakuri. Stay overnight.
Day 10- After breakfast depart from Song and from Song to Almaora. Stay overnight at Almora.
Day 11- Almora to Kathgodam.
Day 12- Kathgodam by train to New Delhi
