Sunderdhunga Glacier

Sundhedhunga means the valley of beauitiful stones. The valley is situated to the west of Pindari valley and has two glaciers: Maktoli and Sukhram. The main peaks near the glaciers are Tharkot (6100 mts.), Mrigthuni (6856 mts.), Pwalidwar (6663 mts.). Sunderdhunga glacier is filled with natural beauty and is well within the capacity of any trekker to reach.

ITINERARY

1	New Delhi	Meet, Briefing; Take evening train/ night train from Delhi to Kathgodam
2	Bageshwar	Travel from Kathgodam to Bageshwar escorted by our instructor/host.
3	Song	After b/fast, drive down to Song (30kms, 2hrs) Trek to Loharket (1600mts) and o/night camp here.
4	Dhakuri	Start your day by trekking from Loharkhet to Dhakuri (2680 mts, 11 kms) Overnight stay at camp
5	Jatoli	Trek from Dhakuri to Jaitoli.... Easy walk (2438 mts, 14 kms). Overnight stay at camp
6	Khatulia	Trek from Jaitoli to Khatulia.... (3206 mts, 14 kms) Overnight stay
7	Sundherdhunga	Visit Sunderdhunga glacier & Sukhram Caves Point ( 3880 mts, 7 kms). Trek back from Glacier to Khatulia
8	Jaitoli	Trek back from Khatulia to Jaitoli.
9	Dhakuri	Trek back from Jaitoli to Dhakuri
10	Bageshwar	Trek from Dhakuri to Saung (15 kms). Arrive by afternoon, well in time to take a transport to Bageshwar (40 kms, 2 hrs.) past Bageshwar and check in at Guest house.
11	Kathgodam	Drive down to Kathgodam, take a night train to Delhi or you can part for your personal visit.
12	Delhi	Arrive.
