Makalidurga

A small granite hillock, nestled amidst the chains of mountains, formed like a valley closer to Ghati Subramanya, a well-known pilgrimage center. Just 2 hr drive away from the city approx of 60km. Makalidurga has a fort on top, at the height of 1,350mts. Here is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The mountains is filled with date plants, lemon grass, many more plants and small boulders. Get the glimpse of the mountain train; passing through the valley at the foothills of these Mountains on either side of the base of the hillock there is a huge lakes, each lake spreads more than 6km radius.

Day Adventures For Corporate groups or Families

• 0700 hrs - Departure from Bangalore (2hr 30 min drive; B/fast on the way.
• 1000 hrs - Arrive at the base; Begin your day with Hill climbing after Briefing from our instructors,a 4km gradual climb to reach top; approx an hour and half with intervals. Rappelling while descending down from the hillock for approx 40ft high
• 1400 hrs - Lunch break and relax.
• 1530 hrs - (Fun activity)like Obstacles - Balance walking, crawling, fun games.
• 1700 hrs - High tea and snacks or continue with Campfire
• 1800 hrs - Departure from here
• 2000 hrs - Arrive at Bangalore
