Much has changed in the world, since Backpacker, mountaineer and outdoorsman Brian Highland, George Zacharaiah and Dev Balaji founded Nature Admire in 1997, But Brian’s original mission was to train young men and women to be a great leaders both in and out of wilderness- lives on. At the same time, Dev also wanted to inculcate love for nature among every age and people of all walks of life. Nature Admire activities are proof that the adventure here works, whether they’re students, entrepreneurs, astronauts, doctors, engineers or educators they’re not afraid to step out in front.
At Nature Admire Participants learn outdoor skills. They develop leadership, learn and experience wilderness skills. Nature Admire participants say, the experience had and the leadership lessons learnt in the camp are more important than ever in these changing times. In the wilderness, the consequences are real, and so are the lessons.
Our participants also tell you that leadership at Nature Admire is really about the team, not the individual. Our participants discover, perhaps for the first time in their lives, the magic that happens when people of different backgrounds and different beliefs find their way toward a common ambition. In this time of uncertainty, that is perhaps the most important leadership lesson of all. And we believe there is no better place to learn and practice this lesson at Nature Admire.
Dev was struck to know how dedicated his fellow instructors were, they work long days in the field, spent hours preparing for camps and help the participants learn and enjoy the wilderness skills. "It’s especially gratifying to me that the same devotion, excitement and enthusiasm for teaching is present in our staff and instructors even today".
Toady, Nature Admire has taught about wilderness for more than 80,000 and been successful by organized more than 500 camps at 100% safety record. At Nature Admire, we focus on the details, We leave nothing to chance. We are trying on excellence, we aren’t resting on our laurels. We are constantly pushing ourselves to a higher level.
For nearly 7 years Nature Admire has remained focused on its original goal- to give people the skills to comfortably and responsibly live in the backcountry.
